Images of 3D model of statue of Father of Marco Nonio Balbo
Modello 3D della statua equestre del pretore e proconsole Marco Nonio Balbo, il padre (MANN, inv.6211). La statua era collocata nel teatro di Ercolano. Rinvenuta acefala, fu integrata con una copia della testa della statua togata MANN inv.6167. La statua, omaggio degli abitanti di Nuceria, doveva risalire con ogni probabilità all’epoca del proconsolato di M.Nonio Balbo nella provincia di Creta e Cirene, come suggerirebbe il fatto che il personaggio indossa la corazza.
