3D master model of the of the Sarcofago degli Sposi, Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia, Rome - 0.5mm resolution - 3D model generated through Laser Triangulation 3D Scanning, triangulated surface mesh at maximum resolution (60 millions of triangles) - Geometry only. 3D digitization by Visual Computing Lab, ISTI-CNR - Collaboration between ISTI-CNR, CINECA and the Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia, Rome - Models created for the preparation of a thematic exposition, ad for the creation of a physical replica. The "Sarcofago degli Sposi" is a terracotta funerary urn, dating back to the VI Century BC. Discovered during an excavation in Cerveteri, it is now conserved in the Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia (Rome).
