Photos from the 3D digitization campaign of the South Wall Procession of the Ara Pacis, Rome.
3D digitization by Visual Computing Lab, ISTI-CNR and ITABC - 3D survey for the setup of an exposition in Japan, centered on Roman culture, and the creation of divulgative video.
The Ara Pacis Augustae is a sacred enclosure in Rome dedicated to the Roman goddess of Peace. The monument, commemorating the return of Augustus to Rome after three years of war, was consecrated on January 30, 9 BC.
