3D model of the Luni Temple, digital reconstruction based on Archaeological data - The 3D model has been obtained by hand-modelling, following the archaeological surveys and reconstructions of the temple.
Sketchup file format: complete scene, parametric- and instance-based modelling, geometry only.
Blender file format: complete scene, including objects (5 statues, back support, braces) and scene helpers (materials, camera + camera path, object animation, lighting setup), ready for rendering (Cycles renderer).
The Great Temple of Luni was an Etruscan-Roman age temple, located in Luni (Tuscany), almost certainly dedicated to Selene (the moon goddess).
3D digitization by Visual Computing Lab, ISTI-CNR - Collaboration between ISTI-CNR and the Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici della Toscana, digitization of groups A and B of the Luni Temple pediment, model creation and color mapping, experimentation on ancient color reconstruction, digital reconstruction of the Temple, creation of presentation videos.
