3D point cloud model of the main road and squares of San Gimignano, Italy - 3D data generated from Time-of-Flight 3D laser scanning - Aligned raw scans, points + normals (75 millions of points) - geometry only 3D digitization by Visual Computing Lab, ISTI-CNR - Campaign carried out in the framework of a regional project (VISITO Tuscany), for the creation of a platform for tourism support. San Gimignano, located in Tuscany, Italy, is a small walled medieval hill town, mostly built in the medieval period. The city center is well known as the "City of Towers", due to the many towers built by the various families in the XII and XIII century.
