A collaboration between ISTI-CNR and Opificio delle Pietre Dure and Comune di Firenze The Fountain of Neptune is located in the Piazza della Signoria, at a corner of Palazzo Vecchio (Florence). The construction of the fountain started in 1565, the fountain and its statues are a work of the sculptor Bartolomeo Ammannati.
