Images of 3D model of statue of Agrippina Minore
Immagine del modello 3D della statua di Agrippina Minore (MANN, inv.5612), da Ercolano presso il teatro. La sproporzione fra testa e figura fa nascere il sospetto che la testa non sia pertinente. Seni, fianchi e gambe sono scomparsi sotto il panneggio, che corre con lunghe pieghe fino ai piedi e conferisce un atteggiamento statico alla figura. Sia l’acconciatura della testa, sia la resa del panneggio, sono da porre in età claudio-neroniana. La testa è stata inclusa fra i ritratti di Agrippina Minore (15-56 d.C.) moglie di Caligola e madre di Nerone.
