Images of 3D model of statue of Apollo Pothos
Immagine del modello 3D della statua di Apollo Pothos (MANN, inv.6253). La statua ha subito numerosi restauri, includendo l'aggiunta della lira. Questa suggerisce che si tratti della rappresentazione di Apollo quando in realtà doveva trattarsi di Pothos, una divinità minore, personificazione del desiderio amoroso. Qui si tratta di una replica di un ritratto idealizzato di Alessandro Magno, diretto dallo scultore ateniese Leochares.
